Behind the frame

“The Last Sheriff” She once wore the badge to protect the innocent. The farm knew her name, the crows respected her silence, and the horizon belonged to her. Then the world ended. Every sunset became another warning, every fence another battlefield, and every familiar face returned with empty eyes. Yet she never stopped standing tall. She walked through the apocalypse with grace, refusing to surrender the last piece of humanity that still beat inside her heart. The dead followed her because they remembered who she had been. Half human… half infected… forever caught between two worlds. But when the rain finally fell, it washed away the blood, the fear, and the nightmare itself. Perhaps none of it was real.
